【Item Description】

WWII USAAF A-1 mechanic knit knitted from British Syrupshire wool yarn.

The wool is dense and elastic, giving it the appealing look of good old vintage wool.

The neckline has a distinctive V-neck, which is set shallow to allow for layering under a shirt.

The knitting direction of the yoke, cuffs and hem has been changed to reduce the stretchiness that is typical of knitwear.

It also serves as a design accent, but it is a detail that is unique to military items for a reason.
