【Item Description】
This USN (United States Navy) summer flight jacket is made from 10oz milled denim with a brown weft and cotton weapon dyed a vintage-like khaki.
The silhouette has been modified while retaining the original functional beauty, such as the shawl collar, left sleeve pocket, action pleats on the back, and three-dimensional cut under the arms.
The center zipper is treated with a string to prevent it from getting caught, recreating a vintage-style technique.
【material 】
-Mil Denim-
This 10oz selvedge denim combines indigo warp threads with brown weft threads, both made with #10 threads.
The concept is military denim, and the brown weft gives it the appearance of navy blue.
We use uneven yarn that was specially made for us at a spinning factory.
The weft thread is made of cotton nep yarn dyed brown, giving it a rough look.
The fabric is woven slowly and powerfully on a shuttle loom that has been in operation for over 50 years.
-Weapon-
Weapon material made with warp thread 36/2 and weft thread 24/2, double thread used both vertically and horizontally.
It was adopted as the uniform for the United States Army's West Point Military Academy, and is woven to that standard on an old-fashioned shuttle loom.
It is characterized by its unique strength and luster, which is achieved by using double yarn.
