Produced USN N-1 in the 1940s based on the concept of a commercial version manufactured and sold for the private sector.
Grosgrain piqué, which has excellent wind resistance and water repellency, is used for the outer shell, which is considered rare in vintage.
3M's Thinsulate, which has high heat retention, is sandwiched between the middle layers, and soft baby alpaca is used for the entire lining.
The leather trim at the pocket opening, which is also a feature of TROPHY's N-1, is a design that can be seen in car coats and lunch coats in the 30's, and has a different personality from the mil-spec jackets delivered to the military.
Ventilation under the armpits, hidden ribs on the cuffs, metal fittings at the tip of the drawcord, and piping on the chin strap, etc., are authentic construction without compromise.
The colors are olive drab and navy, as well as biker style black, which is not usually found in vintage.
