【Item Description】
This 1940s USN deck vest is based on the commercial version manufactured and sold to civilians.
The outer shell is made of an original dyed slate gray and a vintage-like khaki with a reddish tint.
The entire lining is made of soft white baby alpaca.
The armholes are deep to prevent interference with the sleeves of your outerwear.
The washed look gives it a vintage-like soft feel with puckering in various places, making it a useful inner vest.

Weapon material made with warp thread 36/2 and weft thread 24/2, double thread used both vertically and horizontally.
It was adopted as the uniform for the United States Army's West Point Military Academy, and is woven to that standard on an old-fashioned shuttle loom.
It is characterized by its unique strength and luster, which is achieved by using double yarn.
