Kemp wool, whose white hairs on the surface give it a rough appearance, has been reproduced based on analysis of vintage wool.
The leather lining on the back of the obi is stamped with copper foil, the brim and crown are bulging, and there are no snap buttons, giving the silhouette something between a newsboy cap and a hunting cap.
