He studied the vintage tailoring from the 1930s that he owns and created the suit in collaboration with a master suit maker who is an expert in suits.
The double-breasted jacket, which has its roots in military officers' uniforms, is said to have been created so that the direction of the seam could be changed depending on the direction of the outside wind.
The jacket is fully lined with wool interlining from the lapel under the upper collar to the hem. Nowadays, most jackets use adhesive interlining to reduce costs in areas that are not visible, but considering the beauty of the jacket and how it fits the body the more it is worn, wool interlining was essential. Different types of wool interlining are used in different parts, and layered to create a three-dimensional shape that beautifully hugs the silhouette of the body.
The padding and sleeve padding are also used to help retain shape.
The buttons used are buffalo buttons, which are the highest quality natural material.
In order to recreate the look of a good old suit, the suit was custom-made using navy wool from Miyuki Keori, a luxury textile manufacturer founded in 1905.
A sturdy, heavy twill serge made with 72-count warp and weft yarn.
The number of stitches is 350 g/m (generally 230 g/m to 250 g/m), which is more than usual. The natural shape, shoulder position, and sleeve angle that you feel when wearing it are the result of the experience of skilled pattern makers and specialized sewing factories.
