【Item Description】
We have produced a rain parka for US NAVY deck workers based on the concept of the commercial version manufactured and sold to the civilian market.
VENTILE is a military-developed textile that is woven at an ultra-high density and is 100% cotton, yet has excellent wind and water repellency properties.
It has a lace-up front, the wind guard around the neck has been extended and a side zipper has been added for easier putting on and taking off, and there's a kangaroo pocket with a single welt around the waist, creating a well-balanced blend of gear and town wear elements.
The colors are olive drab and urban black, which is not usually found in vintage items.
【Material 】
Ventile material with excellent waterproof, windproof and breathable properties.
The number of stitches is very high and it is woven at an ultra-high density, so it blocks water droplets from the outside and has high waterproofing. It has excellent wind resistance.
On the other hand, water vapor from the inside can pass between the fibers, making it breathable and less likely to become stuffy.
It has a thick GABA texture and is characterized by steep diagonal lines on the surface.
