We have produced a rain parka for US NAVY deck workers based on the concept of the commercial version manufactured and sold to the civilian market.
It's a pullover jacket.
It comes in two colors: olive drab and urban black, which is not usually found in vintage items.
The ultra-high density woven VENTILE fabric is made of 100% cotton, yet is windproof, water repellent, Uses military-developed textile with excellent breathability.
Because it is woven with a very high number of stitches at an extremely high density, it blocks water droplets from outside and has excellent waterproof and windproof properties.
The fabric is neither too thick nor too thin, giving it a firm and strong feel. I especially want to get my hands on it at this time of year.
The distinctive front opening is lace-up and the wind guard around the neck is extended.
The width of the body is made wider than usual, and a side zipper has been added to make it easier to put on and take off.
The kangaroo pocket with single-welted edge around the waist provides ample storage capacity for everyday use around town.
