A 60/40 cloth lined jacket that combines the abrasion resistance of nylon with the breathability of cotton.
It comes in two colors: classic Black and the seasonal color Ice Gray.
The main material is a water-repellent 60/40 cloth.
60/40 cloth is a fabric that originated in the 1960s as a material for outdoor wear. The name comes from the fact that the weft is woven with 60% cotton and the warp with 40% nylon.
When it gets wet in the rain, the cotton in the weft absorbs the moisture and swells, increasing the density of the fabric and blocking out rain and wind.
The lining is made of thick brushed cotton, which provides better heat retention than a typical coach jacket.
Another nice feature is the inner pocket on the front right side.
This outdoor classic, known only to those in the know, has been updated with features such as a foldable chin strap, upward-facing pockets that reduce the risk of items falling out, and a new drawstring threading method.
The silhouette has a moderate amount of room, so it can be layered and worn throughout all three seasons.
