This material is made by bundling 144 fine threads (filaments) of 50D (denier) thickness. It has a supple, fluffy powdery touch that is unique to this material.
The fabric has been given a sheer finish to give it durable water repellency.
The side seams have stretchy ribbing, making for a comfortable fit.
The padding is made of ClimaShield Combat, a compact and excellent material developed at the request of the U.S. military.
