A 60/40 cloth lined jacket that combines the abrasion resistance of nylon with the breathability of cotton.
60/40 cloth is woven with 60% cotton in the weft and 40% nylon in the warp.
This functional material was born in the late 1960s and played an important role in the history of outdoor wear .
The cotton in the weft absorbs moisture and expands , increasing the density of the fabric.
Combined with the water-repellent properties of the nylon warp threads , it prevents moisture from entering.
Furthermore, it expels moisture and stuffiness caused by sweating, maintaining a comfortable fit.
This is an innovative textile that combines opposing functions.
It also has excellent tear strength, and because it is a cotton blend, it is more fire resistant than synthetic fibers.
The surface has a unique dull luster and changes over time.
