A commercial version was produced based on the early model B-15 bomber jacket that was created in 1944 and was manufactured and sold to civilians.
The outer shell is made of lightweight, densely woven cotton poplin, and the lining is made of alpaca wool.
The main zipper is offset to the right for a better fit around the collar and wind resistance to prevent wind from entering through the gaps in the zipper.
The storm flap, a distinctive detail, is thick and prevents wind from entering.
The collar can be turned up and secured with a chin strap to keep your neck warm.
The slider uses a pinlock zipper with Trophy Clothing's original markings.
The side pockets are lined with heat-retaining corduroy.
The B-15 largely adopted the three-dimensional cutting and sewing technique with many parts that was underdeveloped in the B-10, and evolved into a rounded shape to fit the movement of the body.
