It is based on the USN field jacket and is a commercial version manufactured and sold to the civilian market.
The outer shell is made from lightweight, high-density, wrinkle-resistant cotton poplin, just like the real thing.
The lining is made of wool and cotton with uneven yarn for a firm texture. The underarm seams make use of the original details to reduce thickness and chafing when worn.
The front opening, which uses both buttons and a zipper, is designed to prevent wind from entering. It is equipped with a leather zipper tab, so it can be opened and closed easily even when wearing gloves.
By raising the collar, you can increase the insulation of the neck, which is the most important part of regulating body temperature.
The unique construction of this jacket is reproduced, including the action pleats on the back and the shaping created by the waist belt.
It has been washed to create puckering in various places for a vintage look.
It comes in two colors: olive drab and black, which does not exist in real life.
