The 20-count plain weave fabric is indigo dyed at a factory in Japan (Fukuyama, Hiroshima Prefecture), the dot pattern is discharged, and then the off-white is discharged to create a vintage-looking fabric. The discharge printing method involves mixing the discharge agent and pigment, removing the color at the same time as adding the pigment. The more you wash it, the more the color fades, and you can enjoy the fading effect.
