The warp threads are dyed in dark indigo and are thick threads #5, #6, and #7, while the weft thread is #6 . This 15oz heavy-ounce denim is tightly woven and firmer than dirt denim woven at low tension. With wear, the surface rubs against the thick #5 warp threads, resulting in a dynamic vertical fading effect with varying shades.
A work-style pair of pants with a standard silhouette with just the right amount of room, diamond-stitched double knees with a pocket on the top, and triple stitching in various places.
The beautiful, just-fit silhouette, with just the right amount of room around the thighs and a natural taper towards the hem, represents the transitional period of jeans from workwear to townwear.
Features back pockets with hidden rivets, original checkered lining, 1605 brass buttons, and engraved brass UFO rivets.
