This is the Polka Dot version of the chambray work shirt that has been released since the brand was founded.
This original polka dot fabric is made at a factory in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture, from 20-count plain weave fabric that is indigo dyed and the dots are dyed and discharged, resulting in a vintage-style finish that develops a beautiful faded look the more it is washed.
The size balance has been adjusted based on a vintage shirt, with the width and shoulders narrowed to a moderate degree, and the length set so that it can be tucked in or out.
The chest pockets are "gacha pockets." The right chest has a flap pocket, and the left chest has a three-dimensional cigarette pocket, creating an asymmetrical design.
Three-needle rolled stitching is used throughout the sides, yoke, etc. It has the tough construction you'd expect from a work shirt.
The stitching on the cuffs and collar loops on the sides are in keeping with vintage styles.
The buttons are engraved cat's eye buttons, and the brand name is transfer printed on the hem.
