The Authentic Painter Pants were released as a new item in the 23 S/S season and have been sold out ever since. This is the first time they have been in stock in about a year.
Like Lot.1505 / 1504 , it has a deep rise and wide thighs, making it a pair of jeans with a stronger work feel than the others in the series.
This 13.5oz authentic denim is woven using Toyota Industries' oldest G3 loom, with warp threads #7 and weft threads #6.
By weaving gray, which goes well with indigo, into the weft thread and combining it with the dark indigo on the surface, we have created a very deep color.
Combined with the rough texture of power looms, it recreates the texture produced in ancient times.
It uses a raw fabric finish, which means that the more you use it, the more frayed and twisted it becomes.
Based on the store brand's vintage work painter design, the garment features sturdy triple-stitched stitching in various places.
It has a look that exudes the strength that is typical of workwear.
What particularly catches the eye is the large round back pocket and the tool pocket on the right side, which is a characteristic of painter pants.
The omission of the hammer loop is a detail that can actually be seen in vintage items.
It will come in handy when doing bike maintenance or DIY on the weekends.
The front uses a camlock Gripper Zipper.
This is the only zip fly model in the current standard denim lineup.
All stitching is done with cotton thread (katan thread), and the chain stitching uses a different color bobbin thread.
Just like the fabric, you can enjoy the changes in the thread itself over time.
The pockets and crotch areas, which are subject to stress, are reinforced with rivets and bar closures.
